Thank you for the question. This is a refurbished laptop, and it's reflected in the price. It has an 8th generation i7 processor, and new 15" models will have 11th or 12th generation processors. There are a number of other differences between this refurbished laptop and newer models. We encourage you to reach out to Best Buy for assistance.
