• Thank you for your interest in HP toner. The 85A is not MICR toner and HP does not directly my MICR toner cartridges or the printer units that use them.

• This model is not a MICR cartridge. The MICR cartridge to take the place of this standard one is MicroMICR THN-85A. It fits all the same printers as the CE285A cartridge does.

• MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) is a special toner usually used for printing checks.
