Yes, I have used the XL cartridges in all colors and black in my HP 6970, and they fit with no problem.

Please try again later.To be on the safe side I would goggle your printer to make sure of the number of the cartridge before just buying one, unless that is the number on the hp cartridge you are replacing. The space on my printer is small, too. It is not big like the 902xl black cartridge space. I hope this helps.
