• Hi Gene, thank you for reaching out. Your Photosmart 8450 does not accept 910XL cartridges. Per the printer manual, it accepts HP 95 or 97 (tri-color), HP 96 (black), HP 99 (photo black), and HP 100 (gray). Note that HP 96 black has recently been replaced by HP 98.
