“I have an HP printer 6500 series and I need to buy the 3 color ink pack.. the black cartridge says it is a 920XL on the box ,but the 3 pack standar does not have an XL after the 920. is the 920-3 pack compatible to the 920XL for my printer?”

Yes, the XL just means it has a lot more ink in it than the cartridge with out XL

Love these inks & has been using them for 30yrs. Only disappointment is Best Buy HP is no longer giving discount on on empty cartridges brought into the store.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The XL behind the black ink name stands for extra life or something like that. Ultimatly it is a longer lasting ink cartrige then the regular black. The color combo does not have that option.
