“I just got the HP Officejet Pro 6830 printer. Why does it show individual colors for the 935 cartridge. Do I have to buy individual 935 cartridges for different colors or is there one cartridge for all colors? and what is the difference in 934 and 934XL?”

There are 3 color cartridges (magenta, yellow and cyan) and 1 black cartridge. The XL cartriges have a larger ink supply.

The HP Officejet Pro 6830 will have individual ink cartridges for all the colors. The black ink is the HP 934 cartridge and the color is the HP 935 cartridge. Both the 934 and 934 XL ink cartridges will fit. The 934 XL will yield up to 1000 pages. The HP 934 standard size will yield up to 400 pages.
