Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe this has more to do with printing a more SOLID darker Black...than with how many pages you can print from a 96. The 96 is typically for higher-end printers... for example the kind that are used by graphic professionals not necessarily for home use. These printers are often in the 300 - 600 dollar range. The darker more intense black is for graphics purposes.

I do a lot of work for the Boy Scouts of America and my job requires a lot of printing for a lot of people. I would recommend getting the duel pack XL. It last even longer and its cheaper when its packaged together.
