• Yes, any printer that uses the 962 ink cartridges can also accommodate the 962XL ink cartridges.

• The HP 962 Standard size cartridge and the HP 962 XL size cartridges ARE interchangeable with one another. Same size cartridges BUT the XL just has more ink in it.

• Yes, the XL cartridges just last a lot longer because they hold more ink. I switched to HP's XL cartridges a long time ago and I really like that I don't have to replace them so often.

• They are physically larger, but fit into the same slot in the printer. I use them all the time without issue.
