• 98 ink is the high-capacity version and contains more ink. 92 will print up to 220 pages while 98 will print up to 420 pages.

• The HP-98 is a higher volume cartridge that lasts a lot longer. That's why it is more expensive.

• The 98 has a bit more ink in it and will last you a little while longer.
