“Does this printer stand alone or does it have to be hooked to a computer?”

• You have to hook it with the cord to a computer in order to set it up. After that, you can use it as a copier all by itself or use it wirelessly for printing or with a cord for printing. I believe this is correct. I have a similar model.

• product features on bestbuy says its wireless printer, so no need to have a wired connection with computer. hope this helps.
