“do I have to buy an instant ink plan or is the free one compatible?”

• This printer comes with $10 of Instant Ink included. You can use that towards a paid plan or as an balance that can be used on extra pages on the free 15 pages a month plan. You are not obligated to join HP Instant Ink. You would just have to buy the ink from the store.

• We have used the instant ink plan for 3 years now. We really like not having to run to the store on a school night to get ink and always have it ready to go.
