“How do you get the printer to turn off? The power button keeps on blinking after you press the power button to try and turn it off”

• On mine it turns off on its own or goes into a sleep mode. By holding the power button down until it blinks it puts it into a program mode from what I read when I was setting mine up. Mine gave me a lot of trouble on initial set up so had to read some online manuals but now it works good. There is some detail and help sections on HP web site.

• Is this really how this thing is designed? it goes into sleep mode and the only way to wake up is unplug for 10 seconds and reconnect? thats the only way i have found to get it to work as well.

• I have faced the same issue, so disconnected the power supply. Remove the main power supply socket and after 10s plug it back.
