Because the HP 2725 is no good at all... I bought it 6 months ago and I regret it a thousand times. Better buy a printer a little more expensive, cheap is expensive. Good luck.

Make sure the paper tray guides are not too tight, as to cause the paper to "buckle", and not too loose, which might cause the stack to become uneven. Make sure the paper is at least 16 lb. in weight. (Media weight supported: Letter: 16 to 32 lb; HP envelopes: 20 to 24 lb; HP cards: up to 110 lb; HP 4 x 6 inch photo paper: up to 145 lb). Please review this HP Support video about paper pick-up issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3buDPG35ls&t=17s. As to the yield from HP 67 cartridges, the standard black cartridge will print approximately 120 pages, and color about 100 pages. XL cartridges will yield about double that. You can save on ink by keeping the printer on 24/7, as powering on and off uses ink during restarts. (Keeping the printer on is best for the health of the cartridge in general). The biggest cost savings is with Instant Ink, where you pay for pages printed, not the amount of ink on the page. That's great for high-graphic printouts and photos.
