• Thank you for the question. Are you asking about adjusting darkness and lightness of a an orginal that you are scanning? Yes! Using the full-feature software (download that from HP Support), you can use HP Scan (advanced settings) for limited adjustment of color, brightness, or contrast. You should know that Windows Photos or Paint can also do this.
