• Excellent for photo scanning. Good quality. No app to add stuff. That is for a different app.

• Thank you for the question. The DeskJet 27855e has a flatbed scanner, and you can scan photos in resolutions up to 1200 dpi. Use the HP full feature software for best results. Use photo editing software such as Adobe if you wish to add music - this is not a printer/scanner function. Save your creation to a thumb drive connected to your computer.
