Do not sign up for the plan. I did not get the plan. Just opt out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Harold, You are not obligated to join the HP Insta Ink Subscription. This printer model right now does comes with 6 months of free ink. I purchased this printer for my father last month for his birthday and when I signed him up there was an option to opt out of the monthly subscription after the 6 free months of HP Insta Ink was completed. I have been a member for a few years now. I absolutely love how my ink is monitored so that if I ever need any it is mailed to me before I run out. I do not need to worry about going to the store and buying any. I am grateful for having HP Insta Ink's Subscription service and find it very meaningful for use. I am not wasting ink when buying it by not needing all that come in the package. It is very affordable to pay monthly and even if I do not need any ink for that month I am still saving more than I would have buying it retail price. Either way the choice is yours to make. I always find it helpful when others share their experiences. Like I said you do get 6 months free with this model and you are able to opt out of the subscription when your 6 months of free ink services are up. You may have a change of heart after enjoying the luxuries of having free 6 months of ink service. Take care, Marigold
