It probably needs HP instant ink which you may have or not may have not signed up for, This can be a very difficult and aggravating problem to say the least which may not be able to be resolved due to a lack of customer support on HP part. I hate leaving this type of answer but it 100% true I experienced this first hand and will not purchase an HP product ever again....
