I believe I you load disc on laptop it will allow scanning easy. But if on tablet other than Android like my Ama kindle I've given up on trying to scan.When I really need to scan i think I will figure it out but Hp should be more up to date with tablet apps i purchased on black Friday and didn't research to much.I will next time .
