“Can this printer be used with cartridges instead of ink? ADD says Instant Ink but also shows cartridges for it. I need it only for occasional use with a desktop computer. Also, can it be connected with a USB cord rather than WI-Fi?”

• It has a USB port so probably. It uses small box type ink cartridges. The instant ink program has four or five levels, all inexpensive.

• Yes, to both questions. The Instant Ink program would send you cartridges, but you can choose to not sign up for it. And you can connect the printer to a computer with a USB printer cable.
