A:AnswerFirst important point is this printer can only connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. You may need to use a USB cable (square end at the printer and whatever other end at the computer) for initial Wi-Fi setup. If the computer you are using to set up the printer Wi-Fi connects to 2.4GHz also, you should be able to identify the printer on your network and may not need the cable. Once the printer is setup on Wi-Fi, you should be able to print from any other part of your network. My MacBook Air connects to my network on the 5 GHz side but can print to this printer via Wi-Fi. I have also printed from my iPad.
