You do not have the ability to use a USB cord to hook it up to a computer or your phone. Everything on this printer is wireless, so if you do not have internet access, this printer will not work for you. There is not a port for you to use a USB device to scan your document to as the wireless system either scans to the computer or your phone. If you need to put documents on a USB drive you will have to download them on the USB from the computer.
