Apologies for what you're experiencing. This PC has Bluetooth 4.2, which can hold connection to another device for a maximum of 60 meters (200 feet). Barring any obstructions between the PC and the keyboard/mouse (not a smooth path between devices) range is probably not the problem. It's more likely that there are several devices on the network vying for the same frequency, (smart TV's, phones, printers and smart appliances). Please reach out to Support.HP.com for assistance with settings (or more in the unlikely event that there is a failure with the Bluetooth radio).
