Generally 'black' USB ports are 2.x and 'blue' are 3.x . The front Bezel does have the 'SS' label but the ports are 'black'. The rear ports are 2 'blue' and 2 'black' (see attached pictures). If my front 4 'black' USBs are truly SS 3.0 then, based on the HP specs [4-3.x & 4-2.x], all ports on the back are 2.x even though they are different color - this is counter intuitive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for the question. According to the official HP Specification, the M01-F3224 desktop has 4 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate ports on the front (labeled with the SS logo) and 4 USB 2.0 Type-A ports on the rear.
