It has an extra sata connector and a bay for an extra 3.5 hard drive. I just added a 4tb western digital hard drive to mine. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In case anyone is wondering, I believe the M.2 socket 3, key M slot is occupied by the factory-installed 256GB M.2 SSD. So if you add a larger M.2 SSD you would have to take out the original M.2 SSD. In this machine it's it's probably better to leave the M.2 SSD installed and just add a SATA SDD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can definitely add a SATA drive. There is a spot for the drive itself, SATA connector on the motherboard and a SATA power cable coming from the power supply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There seems to be some confusion on this point. One person says Yes, I used the 3.5-inch bay and the SATA connector; someone else says No, only a couple of M.2 slots, neither of which can support a large FDD. The "Expansion" section of the specs says it has a 3.5 bay and four other slots, but it does not explain if those are "total" or "available". I wonder what about this question makes it so hard to answer?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I just put a WD caviar HDD in mine today. The trick is to hook it to the cable included on SATA0, don't try to hook it to the other SATA1 port, as that is for an additional SSD(trust me, it will give you headaches. ) And yeah the power supply is a bit lacking, but if you need to you can get an older 300 w psu, set a jumper on its MB line and plug that in to the GPU, just be sure to turn the gpu psu on first.(before the pc psu) hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are only 2 expansion slots available on this desktop: 1 M.2, socket 1, Key A (Usually WLAN) and 1 M.2, socket 3, key M for solid state drive (PCIe). Here is a great article on M.2 expansion slots: https://www.howtogeek.com/320421/what-is-the-m.2-expansion-slot/

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In theory, yes. But you may consider changing out the power supply for a 500 or a 650, to handle the video card - if you plan on installing a dedicated video card.
