• Thank you for the question. CD/DVD drives have been eliminated from modern laptop designs for a number of reasons. Users now acquire content/software through downloads, not CDs. We would recommend connecting an external drive to access older programs on CD. Turbo Tax can be downloaded from their site. Windows 11 was introduced in 2022. We don't know how long the version will exist before it is retired, but it will likely be years in the future. While we can't see that far into the future, past experiences indicate that Microsoft will release a version that will be an easy upgrade from Windows 11.
