There are four common types of video output ports: VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and HDMI. This computer has a VGA and a DisplayPort output, so if your monitor has either of those, you'll just need the cable to go between them. If your monitor only has HDMI and/or DVI-D, you'll need an adapter. Without knowing the model number of the monitor, it's impossible to give you more specific information.
