Thank you for the question. This is a refurbished laptop. Batteries lose some charging ability over time. Without knowing how long the battery has been in service, we're unable to tell you how much battery life you can expect on a charge. Make sure the laptop is fully charged before use to get the most benefit. Note that battery life is affected by settings - screen brightness, use of WiFi, backlit keyboard, number of open tabs/programs, etc. (The more the laptop has to work, the more power required). Always use lower settings when using on battery power. If you opt to have a new battery installed, you can expect a battery life of up to 14 hours on mobile settings:
