“UGH!!! Why do the specs say "USB Ports: 2 x USB-A 3.1" when it actually has only one USB-A and two USB-C??? Granted it's easy enough to buy an adapter, but now I'm wondering if any of the other specs are wrong too.”

Thank you for the question. USB 3.1 has a bandwidth of 10 gigabits per second. The Envy 16-h1053dx has two USB-A 10Gbps ports - one on each side, and two Thunderbolt™ 4 with USB Type-C® 40Gbps ports. You can see more information by scrolling to "From the Manufacturer".
