“Can this laptop be powered off one of the thunderbolt ports?”

• You can only charge the laptop with the thunderbolt port when the laptop is completely turned off. I have verified this with a USB-C laptop charger and a Thunderbolt docking station; neither will charge the laptop if it is turned on. This is another incorrect answer from HP.

• Yes.the Thunderbolt 4 ports on this computer allow you to power the laptop through one of them.
