This laptop will be fast enough without adding any more RAM. The CPU and SSD hard drive will affect the speed more than the RAM. 16GB of RAM is more than enough to run Lightroom. If you do end up adding more RAM, 32GB of RAM would be enough. 64GB of RAM is not necessary for Lightroom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure. I9 processor with this graphics card is more than enough to perform those tasks. You could also just purchase an external hard drive with several terabytes of memory. These days you should be able to get a pretty decent solid-state external hard drive that will provide you with massive storage and Excellent Speed when accessing your data.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This laptop is great powerhouse for creators, especially with the i9 processor and 4060 GPU. After upgrading the RAM like you want to do, I would think this laptop would meet her needs for 3 to 4 years before noticing any degradation in performance.

You’re reaching that peak where it almost makes sense to upgrade rather than spend money on more memory. My PC desktop computer is only about 5 years old and I upgraded recently to a new HO Envy because both Adobe software (Photoshop, illustrator, and after effects) and Autodesk Fusion360 stopped working properly due to my graphics card no longer being compatible with their updated software. With new developments in AI and image processing, you might find that your six year old computer may become obsolete much quicker and it may require more than just more memory to upgrade it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, and you do want 64gb. Consider 64gb the minimum for any professional level editing. Pay no attention to minimum requirements or even recommended requirements. These are meant for average consumers not professionals. Memory is relatively cheap so if you're going to upgrade go all the way.
