“Will a bios update fix the USB-C port issue (not allowing charging while the laptop is in use)?”

• Not at this moment. I have updated to the latest BIOS and still a 100 W USB-C charger nor a Thunderbolt docking station will charge the laptop unless it is completely powered off.

• You can charge it with a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 charger while in use if you have one that matches the correct power supply for this unit. In this case it would be a 200w that you would need to be able to charge while being used.
