Thank you for the question. You can switch out the installed SSD for one with more capacity, and you can also connect an external SSD via USB.. Please reach out to the Geek Squad directly, for pricing and options.

I tried to upgrade my last Envy SSD to a larger size and it was a real mess. The screws are hidden under the two long rubber feet, and the rubber breaks apart, plus you need a special type of screwdriver. One screw would not come out because the pressed-in nut broke loose. Maybe a professional could do it, but I ended up buying a new computer!
