is this laptop good for an architect? null

If I can run Catia on this laptop yes it's a good fit for you. Catia is a 3D program that I used for modeling new aircraft for Cessna and Boeing/Spirit.

I am not familiar with the software you will be using, but I think so this'll work just fine. When I buy a new laptop I carefully choose the one that has the configuration that will allow me to use it for five or six years at the least. (Video card, memory, hard drive and processor) For the last two I paid almost 3000, and they are still running, a little outdated for the latest video games but that's it. This model present an ideal configuration for the price, and paying for the 3 years extend warranty you can be sure to have a reliable laptop. I hope this help. Lucía R-Mireles Shanti
