• It does not make it work like a tablet, what it does is when the laptop is opened the hinge rotates and lifts the rear of the machine slightly to allow a better typing position and to allow for better air circulation through the bottom vent.

• no but I was not interested in that, just something to tear up from my perspective. tablet option not needed for us.
