I want to help and clarify the question, (rather than answering it), and in fact I have the same question: "Inside this computer", does it have an extra bay that allow the 2nd hard drive being installed (it's not the port that connects anything externally)? The older Envy TS 17 I am currently using has 2-hard-drive-bay, which allows me to install a SSD on top of the a large "conventional" hard-drive inside the case, which works nicely. Does this computer allow 2-hard-drive to be installed? Additionally, I noticed someone made a comment about the hinge (cheap looking) for the monitor, which concerns me for this particular model: my current older "Envy TS 17" has the monitor mounted on a hinge that's connected to the plastic casing, and the monitor ripped the case cracked and open at the hinge next to the power and lock side area - obviously a design issue. I am thinking if this new model has a redesigned hinge holding on the monitor with no issues as it has a big and heavier monitor. If there is no issue on that, it should be a good computer with everything (ports etc.) needed.
