The dual core processor works just as well as a quad core. I haven't had any issues with speed or anything else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dual core processor on this laptop is as fast if not faster than my i7 quad core processor on my desk top. For a laptop I can run all of the programs that I run on my quad core, so you should be fine with the excellent laptop,

I think with the good video card as long as you are not playing crazy games and the 16gb memory processor power is really not noticed to much. This processor seems to work good for me. I would, however switch out the 1 tb drive for a SSD drive that is what I did.
