Ram is Soldered onboard not an easy upgrade for the average user.

In practical application, onboard memory is not upgradeable by the average consumer, but a highly skilled, professional technician could make the upgrade (which entails de-soldering the RAM, replacing, and resoldering and more). There is also concern about the average user's proper removal of the Lithium ion battery, that can be dangerous if not handled properly. Improper upgrading can also void the warranty if adjacent components are damaged in the process.
