HP Team's reply is correct, as far as it goes. I would add that you can also either subscribe to MS Office (which is what Microsoft would prefer), or you can use individual components through the Edge browser. Furthermore, there are a number of free, compatible Office suites available from other manufacturers, and some people even prefer these.

Hi, susha, and thank you for the question about Microsoft. It comes with Microsoft 365 installed, which includes Word, Excel and the other apps that Microsoft includes. However, the license is only good for one month, so after that point, you'll need to purchase it from Microsoft to continue to use it
