• No. However, Microsoft allows anyone to download a free, 30-day trial of the full Office Suite. In addition, there are a number of different packages (Office Home, Student, Business, Family, etc.) available on a subscription or permanent basis. Furthermore, Microsoft makes the individual components available through the Edge browser, one component at a time, for free. Finally, there are also several free versions of Office available from different software manufacturers that are fully compatible with the Microsoft version, and which you may even find superior, especially with regard to integration of the different components.
