I highly recommend this HP Envy. It's my second Envy. My last one lasted for 7 years without any problems. I upgraded because it was starting to struggle when running multiple processes at the same time. This Envy is fast, easy to travel with and a quality made product. You may find it a bit pricey for being a student, but I recommend it because it's a great overall computer and it will last you a long time. Good Luck with your studies!

It has a 512GB SSD that's a fair amount of storage, and if you find that you need more, an external USB SSD is an affordable option.

I've had my HP for over 10 years, and the only problem is that it's WiFi is sometimes a bit flaky. I fixed this easily and inexpensively by buying an external USB to WiFi converter.
