I truly believe so! I am not a student but, I have had a HP Envy computer from like 10 years ago...they are GREAT computers! And, I just bought a NEW one! HP Envy x360, 2-in-1 Laptop, 14" ...16GB RAM, 512GB Storage capacity is enough for most anything! I am Truly Satisfied with this New HP Envy computer! Also, I am NOT a gamer!

My tendency is to say "yes," if you are referring to a general use computer, for the majority of courses, but there are many areas of study where I would recommend against this laptop. Among those are video or photo editing, and possibly programming. If you are at all interested in these pathways of study, I suggest checking your school's syllabi and/or speaking to specific instructors for possible bottlenecks in your study program.

Yes, I think it would be fine for four years at university. It's got a new processor, 512 gigabytes of storage, and 16 gigabytes of RAM which should be enough to handle any programs in the next couple of years. We do recommend looking at the system requirements for your major.
