I truly believe so! I am not a student but, I have had a HP Envy computer from like 10 years ago...they are GREAT computers! And, I just bought a NEW one! HP Envy x360, 2-in-1 Laptop, 14" ...16GB RAM, 512GB Storage capacity is enough for most anything! I am Truly Satisfied with this New HP Envy computer! Also, I am NOT a gamer!

My tendency is to say "yes," if you are referring to a general use computer, for the majority of courses, but there are many areas of study where I would recommend against this laptop. Among those are video or photo editing, and possibly programming. If you are at all interested in these pathways of study, I suggest checking your school's syllabi and/or speaking to specific instructors for possible bottlenecks in your study program.

Yes, I think it would be fine for four years at university. It's got a new processor, 512 gigabytes of storage, and 16 gigabytes of RAM which should be enough to handle any programs in the next couple of years.
