• If you leave a laptop plugged in all the time, there's no danger of overcharging the battery. This is because as soon as it hits 100 percent, it will stop charging until the voltage falls below a certain level.

• most modern laptops have protocols that limit battery charging when the laptop is already at full charge. Therefore, leaving it plugged in all the time will be fine!

• Do not do this. Unplug it and let it go down to at least 20% then charge it back up. I’m disappointed in the answers here.
