Thank you for the question. The Envy 15-fe0073dx does not have a fingerprint reader, however, it has a 5MP IR camera that can be used to log in with your face using Windows Hello.

No. I miss that from my previous computer. This one recognizes me by my image thru the camera, which also means you need to keep the camera on, which I used to turn off. In dim light it means I often need to use the PIN #
