• Thank you for your question, Kryptoknite! The SSD in this is user-replaceable, so you can put in a 2TB SSD. HP has the service manuals available for free on its support site.

• Unlike the situation with RAM, where there is a purpose to soldering LPDRR-type, SSD's are not yet soldered in. You just have to check the procedure for swapping them it out, which can vary from simple to complex. depending on the design.
