• Internal speakers are built into the base and provide a good, clear resonance. Even the lower frequencies sound good. The sound system is by Bang & Olufsen. You won't need external speakers unless you're seeking advanced audiophile quality.

• I disconnected my dell computer speakers because as far as I am concerned the sound from the Envy is great especially when watching movies or gaming.
