I actually dont think it would, even the manufacture website states the ram is upgradable, if it wasn't meant for consumers to mess with it they wouldnt make components in the computer upgradable. Usually getting to the ram it self only involves unscrewing a few screws. There might be glue holding the display screen but on the backside there shouldnt be so you should be ok to upgrade it without voiding any warrenty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My guess is, yes. This computer is not meant to be taken apart by the consumer. The screen is held together by non-re useable glue strips. There are special techniques in removing them. Even if you successfully open it, finding replacement strips are impossible, at least I haven't found any source that sells the lengths needed. HP seems to be pretty secretive of revealing a source.
