• Yes, because of the Nvidia Discrete 2GB video, the external Bluray will be supported. I have attached an LG and a Panasonic ones and they worked fine.

• Great question. The external blu ray drive will definitely work with this computer. The display on this computer has a quad HD 3440x1440 resolution display.
