A: I've posted instructions for hard drive replacement as a comment to my initial review. You'll find them there. And don't bother with a 7200 unit; just go with a full SSD.

The best way to determine if this is the best computer for gaming, I recommend looking at the system requirements for the games you wish to play and to compare them to the specs on the computer. HP 34" Parsley
"Parsley, it looks great, but does absolutely nothing for this weak dish." The large screen uses most of the available resources which leaves the user with a big, slow, unreliable piece. HP went backwards on quality from Materials, keyboard, mouse, perf. But went up again in price. Returning it today, for a high perf. Laptop + large curved external display. I was a fast comp, large screen, and crisp display. My HP Omni 27" now 4 years old, blows this out of the water. Very disappointed HP. It's not like the user that buys this is trying to pinch pennies, give as an all around better product. Needs at min. Double the memory, better processor, solid state drive, and better quality mouse & keyboard. You reached for the stars here, and grabbed a lightning bug at best.

From an HP customer since 1990...
I have been an HP customer since 1990 when I bought my first HP LaserJet III from them. I have since purchased many more HP products over the years---both for business and personal use. This is my second HP AIO (all-in-one). My first one was a 23-inch HP IQ-504 which served me well since I purchased it in the Summer of 2007. This 34-inch Envy turned out to be even better since I purchase it on December 2016 and I'm sure it will last for a while. My only complaint was that the original unit/item that I bought developed problems with the speakers after a week and I had to return it to the store. And the replacement unit/them HP had sent me turned out to be a "refurbished" one! I could have just bought a refurbished one for $300 less! It not for that I would have given the HP Envy 34-inch a 5-star review, but then again it was HP's fault---not Best Buys.

Excellent AIO
Like to start off by saying I have read many of the reviews here on Best Buy for this machine as well as numerous other sites that sell the exact same model and the next one up. There is a general agreement that for the price point, there are some poor design elements with the HP Envy 34 no matter which model you choose. This particular model, the A010, is far superior then most AIO, in my opinion. I have owned a few in my time. I personally don't care for touch and won't complain about it not being present. PROs: The large vivid screen is simply amazing and that it is technicolor certified speaks volumes; the fact that it has two video cards is amazing - the Intel Embedded and the NViDIA Discrete; the Intel Realsense camera - ability to scan 3D objects and depth perspective with the camera; separate hdmi in and hdmi out; moreover, inclusion of a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. CONS: As others have stated, the lack of an SSD or even a hybrid at the price point; ability to access hd and ram even though it is stated that the ability is there to upgrade; accessibility of two usb3 ports and the sd port - located on the bottom of the monitor; lack of technical documentation to replace the hd or upgrade the RAM; moreover, the cheap feeling quality of the bluetooth keyboard and mouse. This machine is a beautiful and elegant piece of work. Sleek and modern look. Recommend to anyone looking to replace multiple monitor setups. Recommend replacing the 5400 rpm slow and noise drive with either a ssd or hybrid drive - not to be done by the faint of heart only experience users as there is no documentation and the whole curved lcd screen has to be removed to access hd component. If RAM upgrade is desired, the lcd screen has to be removed as well as the mother board - RAM sits behind the motherboard.
