“Is Envy 4500 compatible with the new Microsoft 8.1 word program I purchased a new hp all in one computer with 8.1 on it. I also bought the Envy 5530 all in one printer. I am having trouble with the printer and it won't print for the Word program. I have exchanged it once but have the same problems. Will the 4500 be better?”

I have the 4500 and it connected to my computer which also has windows 8.1. Yours may connect easier since both products are HP. My computer is an Acer Aspire and it took some time to get it to recognize the printer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Envy 4500 and Microsoft Word 2013 running on Windows 8.1. I have no problems printing from Word. The printer is setup as a wifi network printer. Once the printer was setup on my wifi network, I set it up as my default printer on the PC.
